I'm Rachel Corbett
I’ve spent over two decades working professionally in media, specialising in radio and podcasting.
After 12 years hosting and producing shows for some of the biggest radio stations in the country I started teaching at Sydney's premier radio school, AFTRS and developed my own podcasting course, PodSchool.
I designed the course to be a step-by-step guide to best-practice podcasting because I'm passionate about giving at-home podcasters the tools to create a show that lasts.
And that competes with podcasts made by professional audio networks.
Since 2017 I've worked as Head of Podcasts for two such networks - Mamamia and now Nova Entertainment.
In those role I've been responsible for concepting, casting and overseeing the production of new and existing shows to make sure we were creating content that builds an audience and brings in revenue.
Over the course of my career I've overseen the creation and production of almost 60 original shows.
I've also hosted over ten podcasts personally and am one of the hosts of Channel 10's flagship news show, The Project.
